Ghrita in Ayurveda is a medicine in which the base to extract active ingredients from herbs is ghee. It is prepared by boiling ghee with deconstructions and fine paste of the herbs till dehydration occur thus transferring fat-soluble components of the ingredients to the ghrita. Phala Ghrita or Phalasarpi is prepared from Manjistha, Kustha, Tagara, Triphala, Haldi, Daruhaldi, and many more ingredients and is used in the treatment of disorders of reproductive organs.
